Assistant Director Housing Needs and Homelessness

We are looking for an experienced and innovative leader to join our Housing Leadership Team.
As Assistant Director you will lead, drive and transform the Housing Needs and Homelessness Service, delivering a strong performance management culture, digital transformation across services and developing a truly preventive approach that supports the delivery of our homelessness and rough sleeping strategy to reduce homelessness and the number of households living in emergency temporary accommodation.
This is a challenging service area with high demand for housing. You will provide creative leadership that is utterly focused on prevention and person- centred approaches to achieve sustainable outcomes.
You will ensure effective collaboration with the AD Housing allocations and supply on effective delivery of prs and costs effective temporary accommodation supply to meet current and future housing needs.
Essential to this role will be the ability to lead the service bringing together skills to drive real change at pace. Providing a strong strategic and operational focus on strategic issues relating to homeless prevention and meeting housing needs.
