Assistant Housing Officer - Lateral Move
Permanent
Grade 3 - £25,119 - £31,364 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review
Working 36.5 hours per week
This role is within the East voids Team based at 150-152 Kings Road, Tyesley B11 2AP.
There will be a need to support other voids teams across the city as and when required to cover sickness & annual leave.
You will work within a dynamic team supporting a diverse range of customers undertaking viewings and moving into new accommodation, preparing lettings in a timely manner to ensure void turn around and performance KPIs are met.
You will need to have eye and flair for attention to detail and be passionate in putting our customers needs first and providing a first class customer service.
You will support and enhance the service for customers moving out of their homes.
You will ensure that the service delivers against key directorate priorities and targets, as well as operating within cash limits set out in the council's financial plans and policies and procedures.
You will assist the Housing Officer in providing a quality Void management Service end to end.
All duties to be undertaken in accordance with the Department's desire to treat its residents and the public as valued customers.
You need to be willing to learn and have transferable skills.
No two days are the same the role is very interesting full training and support will be provided.
A full valid driving licence is a requirement of this post.
