Full Time
We're looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our nationally recognised Built Environment team and play a meaningful role in tackling one of the biggest challenges facing society today - the lack of good quality affordable homes.
The role
As an Associate or Senior Associate in our Built Environment team, you'll be joining one of the sector's leading practices to do genuinely significant work from day one. Social housing development is in our DNA - we act for 29% of Homes England's strategic partners - and our client base is among the most active in the sector, spanning housing associations and registered providers, private developers, local authorities, health providers, private equity firms and government agencies.

You will carry your own caseload across the full lifecycle of a development, working alongside senior colleagues on the most complex transactions and supervising junior colleagues where appropriate.
What you'll be doing
  • Advising on a broad range of development structures - including land and build, golden brick and off the shelf deals (including both s.106 affordable and additionality units) - to a high standard of technical competence and within agreed timescales.
  • Supporting business development through writing articles and reports, inputting into tenders, updating literature, seeking out networking opportunities, and engaging with clients, including on short-term secondments where required.
  • Delivering exceptional client service in line with the team's core principles, and undertaking legal research both as requested and on your own initiative to stay at the forefront of the sector.
