Permanent, Part Time 18.5 hours per week.
Are you passionate about housing and homelessness issues?
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a collaborative effort focussed on reducing homelessness in Bristol.
We are looking for an experienced Commissioner or Project Manager who can deliver strategic service improvements which significantly increase the availability of move on accommodation for people who are homeless and the supply of cost effective, high standard Temporary Accommodation.
We are looking for a motivated individual with strategic service improvement experience and ability to identify and project manage the delivery of a range of additional move on accommodation to help reduce homelessness in Bristol.
You will work closely with other teams within Housing Options, partner organisations working with homeless households and people sleeping rough, and a wide group of other agencies involved in developing affordable accommodation options.
Previous experience working in homelessness or affordable housing delivery services alongside good communication, negotiation and good IT skills are key for this role. You will also need to be able to work flexibly, manage time effectively and co-ordinate a range of interventions to ensure work objectives and deadlines are met.
