The vacancy

Communities Manager (North, N1 including Ilkeston, South Derbyshire and East Staffordshire)

Location/Base: Home and community based with the ability to travel to emh offices, community hubs and across the East Midlands as required.
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £51,442 - £57,158 per annum (RFJ 11)

The role

This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join our Communities Team, with a focus on increasing our presence in the communities we serve. In this new role, you will be responsible for leading Based Lettings Assistant, a team of 5 Housing Officers, a Tenancy Solutions Caseworker and a Lettings Negotiator to provide a comprehensive housing & estate management service, making a positive contribution to our communities.

The person

Do you have knowledge and experience of strategic and operational housing law. Do you understand ASB best practice management, neighbourhood and community agenda?

Do you have experience of successfully working collaboratively with others both internally and externally developing positive working outcomes?

Do you have a passion for providing strong customer care skills demonstrating high levels of customer ownership and accountability?

Qualifications

Educated to 'A' Level standard/ equivalent plus GCSE level 4 - 9 standard or equivalent in English and Maths is essential criteria for this role.
