The Vacancy
Energia have an exciting opportunity for a Community Liaison Officer based in Dublin or Belfast.
Reporting to the Community Engagement and Communications Manager, the successful candidate will be a key member of the Energia Renewables team and will work across a range of projects, from the initial development and consultation phase through construction and operation, on an all-island basis.
You will be responsible for liaising with local communities, residents, businesses and locally elected politicians in the areas surrounding our projects and operational assets.
Part of your role will also include copywriting and content creation for external communications, including project information publications, newsletters, website updates, community consultation reports, media releases and social media posts.

What you'll need
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in areas such as Public Relations, Media, Marketing or a relevant science or engineering degree.
- Previous experience of managing relations and resolution of issues with internal and external stakeholders and third parties - preferably in a community-focused role.
- Excellent multi-platform communications skills across all channels with an attention to detail, including content creation, copywriting and proof reading.
- Full clean driving licence and access to vehicle for use in the role, which includes travel to projects and operational sites across the island of Ireland.
