At WorldMakers, we build deeply social, multiplayer games, and Deceit 2 is our flagship title. It's a blend of trust, betrayal, strategy, and jump scares: built on the power of community.
We're now looking for an experienced Community Manager who can lead our efforts to retain, grow, and reignite our player base. You'll be the connection between our studio and the players - the voice, the vibe, and the firestarter.

Your job is to make sure the Deceit 2 community feels:
- Heard
- Hyped
- Hungry to come back for more
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Day-to-Day
- Run daily engagement across Discord, Reddit, and social media
- React to community trends, memes, and moments
- Moderate conversations and keep the tone fun but constructive
- Create and publish community content (spotlights, memes, videos)
- Share a sentiment/feedback snapshot with the team
- Drop sneak peeks or dev Q&As to keep things buzzing
- Build community reports - what players love, what's frustrating, and how sentiment is shifting
- Host themed events like "Liar's Weekend" , fan art contests, or Discord challenges
- Manage winback campaigns that target lapsed players with "Here's what's new!" moments
- Coordinate live AMAs or Fireside Chats with the dev team
- Run community roadmap voting or feedback sessions
- Collaborate with creators for in-game or content-based events
- 2-4 years experience as a Community Manager in games
- Comfortable running Discord communities and Reddit threads at scale
- Great writer - can switch tone from patch notes to memes to crisis comms
- Strategic thinker: knows how to tie community actions to player retention/growth goals
- A people person - approachable, honest, and fun to engage with
- Bonus: Some hands-on content creation skills (TikToks, Shorts, graphic tools, etc.)
