Who is Warlord Games
Warlord Games is the World's leading historical wargames company, with a mission to bring the joys of wargaming to the world. Our games are evocative and fun, capturing the pageantry and drama of warfare, and our miniatures are both historically faithful and packed with character and dynamism. We are looking for Community Managers to grow our wonderful hobby both locally and globally.
What will the job involve? Building hobby communities by creating inspirational content - running painting and modelling demonstrations, organising inspiring gaming events that embrace all styles of play from competitive tournaments to narrative campaigns and acting as an ambassador for the hobby and the Warlord Games brand.
You'll be doing this in-person at events and in stores, as well as posting online regularly to gain a highly engaged following, including livestreamed content.
Who are we looking for? You'll need to be passionate about wargaming, though you don't need an encyclopedic knowledge of history or wargames rules - a desire to learn, explore and share your passion is far more important. You're the kind of person who never gets tired of demonstrating the joys of wargaming to a diverse audience. You'll be encouraged to contribute your own ideas and to try new initiatives, so you'll need to be entrepreneurial to succeed.
What support will you get? We're a small company so you'll need to be pretty self reliant. What you will have is practical support from some of the most experienced people in wargaming, and more importantly every single person in Warlord Games cheering you on and helping however they can. We'll pay you fairly and ensure you share in the value of the community you build.
How to apply. Send your CV along with a letter telling us about why this is the perfect job for you.
Hours: 37.5
Location: UK based
Contract: Permenent
Salary: Depending on experience
