About the Role
Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? Nottingham City Council is on the lookout for a dynamic and dedicated person to lead on work with communities and partners on innovative approaches to crime and community safety. This isn't just any role - it's a chance to be at the forefront of tackling some of the most pressing issues, from crime reduction and anti-social behaviour to reducing re-offending and combatting serious violence.

- Lead and develop strategic approaches to crime and community safety
- Ensure new and emerging issues are approached in a systematic way to ensure effective local responses
- Support and facilitate effective partnership working
- Work with partners to achieve better outcomes for Nottingham's citizens.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An understanding of central government policy and legislation relating to crime, anti-social behaviour, reoffending, and substance misuse
- Good research and analytical skills, and the ability to provide clear written communication that effectively conveys complex information
- Good partnership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience of working in a multi-agency team and cross agency partnerships
