Lead Facilities Operations for a Global Industry Leader
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead the delivery of integrated facilities management services across a prestigious client contract. You'll be responsible for managing engineering operations, client relationships, compliance, financial performance, and continuous improvement across a critical facilities portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of engineering professionals, ensuring a safe, compliant, and high-performing operation.
Manage day-to-day delivery of hard FM services, including mechanical, electrical and building systems.
Act as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and providing regular operational updates.
Drive contract performance, ensuring service levels, KPIs, and statutory compliance requirements are achieved.
Manage contract finances, supporting revenue growth, cost control, profitability and budget performance.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, operational efficiency and service enhancement.
Skills & Experience Required
• Proven experience managing facilities, engineering or building services contracts.
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop and manage teams.
• Technical qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, ONC/HNC or equivalent).
• Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements (NEBOSH/IOSH desirable).
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
