Director of Communities

To cover all services across the UK

£75,000 - £90,000 per Annum depending on experience

United Response are currently looking for a Director of Communities who will have the passion to ensure all our services across the UK are compliant and provide outstanding quality to the people we support.

Your role

As a member of the Directors team, you will take responsibility for the safe and effective running of the organisation and ensure the strategy is delivered, people who use our services get sector-leading support, and our staff become advocates for employment with United Response. You will continue to innovate to find ways to improve the quality of what we do at the same or lower costs including improving processes and embedding new technologies. As part of the role, you will listen to what people and their relatives say about their lives and the support they need and the opportunities to develop their skills and talents they would like, understanding what communities, local authorities, policy makers, experts and government say about service provision and the lives people need to be empowered to lead and will develop services to meet those needs.

To be successful within this role, you will have the following skills;

Qualifications:
  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Qualifications in Operations, Service Delivery, Quality, or an MBA are highly desirable.
  • A deep understanding of the care sector or service delivery is essential.
Experience:
  • Proven track record of success in service delivery and quality improvement.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience operating within budgetary constraints.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a senior leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
