About the role...

As a duty support worker for our Support For All Team, you will work as part of a team to provide support to those who access our service on a drop-in basis. You will facilitate up to 6 duty appointments per day. This includes providing information, advice, guidance, completing housing applications and referring to other services.
About the role:
  • Facilitating duty appointments relating to housing.
  • Identifying the best outcomes for support including using your knowledge on referral pathways.
  • Supporting clients with multiple needs including mental health, disabilities and language barriers.
  • Working in collaboration with the council and other services to meet the needs to service users
About you...
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults.
  • Knowledge of housing legislation /local authorities "duty to refer" is desirable.
  • Experience of managing, planning, and prioritising your own workload, delivering work of a high standard.
  • An understanding of Safeguarding.
  • A genuine interest in being part of the mission and vision of Humankind.
  • An understanding of benefits and debt solutions.
  • Strong communication skills.
