An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estate Officer to join the Housing and Neighbourhoods Service within Sheffield City Council.

We are looking for Estate Officer to work as part of Sheffield City Council's Housing and Neighbourhood Service, supporting the delivery of a quality Housing Service

This role will be based in the Sheffield North of the city and South of the city however you could expect to work in any Neighbourhood Team, should the need arise.

Are you highly motivated, enthusiastic and keen to assist the residents of Sheffield in keeping the communal areas of blocks of flats clean and safe?

Are you a real people person?

Able to work as part of a team?

Are you hard working and have good communication skills and deliver excellent customer care?

You will need to show a basic understanding of numeracy and literacy skills and will, use IT equipment to record your work.

As you may be asked to drive a Council vehicle, an ability to drive is essential.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
