At St Luke's Hospice, every role plays a vital part in supporting people with terminal illness and their families. We are looking for a proactive and organised Estates Coordinatorto join our Estates Team and help ensure our hospice environments remain safe, clean, welcoming and well-presented.This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong coordination and organisational skills who enjoys a varied role, working with colleagues across multiple departments to deliver high-quality facilities services.About the RoleWorking closely with the Estates Manager and Estates Coordinator, you will coordinate the delivery of Facilities Management services across St Luke's sites. You will support housekeeping operations, stock control, waste management, grounds maintenance, security processes, events set-up and environmental standards.You will act as a key point of contact for estates-related enquiries, maintaining accurate records, coordinating contractors and suppliers, and helping to ensure services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Main duties of the job

Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate housekeeping services and monitor environmental standards across hospice sites.Support stock management, ordering and distribution of housekeeping supplies and consumables.Coordinate waste management processes and contractor services.Support grounds maintenance and seasonal activities such as gritting and adverse weather responses.Assist with the coordination of CCTV, access control and key management systems.Support room layouts, office moves, event preparation and space management.Maintain accurate records, audits and compliance documentation.Coordinate requests through Estates systems and provide updates to stakeholders.Work collaboratively across departments to deliver an excellent customer experience.Provide cross-cover and support for wider Estates functions when required.

We are looking for someone who is organised, practical, customer-focused and able to manage a varied workload in a busy environment.Essential RequirementsExperience in a customer-facing, support or operational role.Experience working within a busy team environment.Good organisational and administrative skills.Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.Understanding of basic health and safety principles.Confidence using IT systems and digital software.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritise tasks and respond effectively to changing demands.Full UK Driving Licence.Willingness to undertake relevant training.DesirableExperience within facilities, estates, housekeeping or portering services.Experience in a healthcare, hospice or similar environment.Experience supporting events and room setups.Experience with stock management and stock rotation processes.Knowledge of housekeeping operations.
