About the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual to work with the Housing Options Service. The key objective will be to provide support to the Housing Options Service who provide help to clients who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
The post holder will be required to undertake a variety of jobs within the service including assisting the role of the Housing Officers by providing advice and assistance at first point of contact, with a view to progressing homeless assistance to vulnerable clients.
This will include processing homeless applications, providing advice and assistance, answering queries, and providing homeless administrative support to the role of the Housing Officer.
What We Are Looking For From You
The post holder will be expected to have excellent communication and team working skills, have the ability to self-motivate, and manage their time effectively in a very busy and challenging environment.
Experience of working with the public will be an advantage.
