An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Housing Inclusion Service for a committed, enthusiastic individual who wants to make a real difference to the lives of some of our most vulnerable residents who are experiencing complex needs and are rough sleeping in the borough.

Reporting to the Rough Sleeping Coordinator, the successful applicant will work with a targeted group of clients who have no recourse to public funds, and who also have alcohol or substance misuse dependency, often alongside other complex needs. As a Housing Engagement worker, you will support these clients to access immigration advice, specialist treatment agencies and health providers, as well relevant Housing services.

You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to provide a holistic, targeted and effective programme of support which focuses on enabling people to secure and sustain settled accommodation.
