About this opportunity
Cumberland Council is looking for a dedicated Homelessness Officer to join our People Care and Development team. In this vital role, you'll manage a caseload of clients, conduct statutory assessments, and work closely with partners to deliver tailored housing solutions. You'll play a key part in implementing our Homelessness Prevention and Rough Sleeping Strategy, helping to ensure safe, sustainable housing for residents across the region.
We're seeking someone with at least 6-12 months' experience in housing or homelessness services, strong knowledge of relevant legislation, and a compassionate, solutions-focused approach.
