- Do you want to work in a varied and rewarding role that helps families and individuals facing homelessness?
We are currently looking for a Homefinder to join our team on fixed term basis until 31/03/2026.
In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you will be working with homeless households alongside providers of accommodation to help ensure households can sustain their move into a new home.
You will support and provide advice to our most vulnerable residents at a time of crisis, working with them and empowering them to resolve their threat of homelessness.
In the role you will have face-to-face contact with those people who present as homeless or potentially homeless, to establish what their housing needs are and subsequently source suitable housing with the toolkits available to you.
You will work alongside the customer on personal housing plans to prevent homelessness and provide practical advice and assistance on housing options.

In order to succeed in this role you will need to have:
- Experience of working with vulnerable clients.
- A degree in a relevant subject area or significant knowledge gained through work experience.
- Ability to deal effectively with challenging situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage well with clients and partners
