Salary: Up to £23,866.65 per annum(depending on experience)

About the Role:

At Advance, we put the people who draw on our support at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for an organised and customer-focused Housing Administrator to support our tenancy and leasehold services.

You'll play an important role in ensuring housing services run smoothly by providing high-quality administrative support, maintaining accurate records and acting as a key point of contact for customers and colleagues.

This is a varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, staying organised and supporting others to deliver excellent housing services.

What you'll do:
  • Provide effective administrative support to the tenancy and leasehold team
  • Maintain accurate records and update housing systems, including OpenHousing
  • Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries, resolving issues where possible
  • Support rent account enquiries, including rent statements, payment advice and Housing Benefit information
  • Arrange meetings, appointments and travel, and support meetings through minute-taking and coordination
  • Assist with lettings, re-lets, customer involvement events and service improvements
  • Support responses to complaints, anti-social behaviour cases and neighbour disputes in line with procedure
  • Process invoices, purchase orders and other financial administration as required
What we're looking for:
  • Experience in an administrative role, ideally within housing or a customer-focused environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Confidence using IT systems and databases, including Microsoft Office and housing systems
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
  • A well-organised approach with good attention to detail
  • Demonstrate Partnership, Respect, Inclusion, Drive and Efficiency, working collaboratively, communicating clearly and taking pride in delivering high-quality services
