Housing and Support Officer
Reports to: Housing Manager
Location: BRENT, NORTH LONDON
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Driving License: YES
Purpose:
To ensure a safe, secure and supportive living environment for tenants by delivering housing support services. Managing property standards and fostering positive relationships between residents and the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain safety and security, including property inspections and monitoring adherence to house protocols.
• Provide housing management support, including resident inductions, welfare benefits guidance and addressing anti-social behaviour (ASB).
• Develop and review support plans, conduct risk assessments, and document updates.
• Foster tenant engagement through meetings, activities, and community involvement.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support.
• Perform administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with GDPR and organizational policies.
• Respond effectively to incidents and emergencies.
Skills Required:
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with diverse groups.
• Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations effectively.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and utilizing IT systems.
• Understanding of housing-related support and statutory services.

Experience:
