We're looking for a Housing Assistant to join our dedicated General Housing team and help deliver the services that support thriving communities and sustainable tenancies.

About the Role

As a Housing Assistant, you'll work alongside our Neighbourhood and Lettings Officers to support a range of housing management tasks. You'll be helping residents directly - from carrying out home visits and sign-ups to assisting with community engagement events, service compliance checks, and customer queries.

It's a varied role with a lot of people contact, perfect for someone who is passionate about making a difference and wants to grow in the housing sector.

  • contract - 6 months
  • 35 hours per week
  • Agile working (primarily within the Bangor area)
What You'll Be Doing

    • Supporting tenancy sign-ups, interviews, and home visits
    • Assisting with neighbourhood and lettings functions
    • Helping with scheme checks, damp & mould follow-up visits, and no-access cases
    • Promoting resident participation through community activities
    • Maintaining accurate records and developing positive relationships with residents and external partners
What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from you if you:

    • Have experience in a customer-focused environment
    • Are organised and confident communicating with a wide range of people
    • Understand the importance of professional boundaries, GDPR, and health & safety
    • Are a team player with a can-do attitude
    • Have good IT, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Hold a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
    • Welsh language skills are desirable - we'd love for you to feel confident having everyday conversations in Welsh or be willing to develop this.
