The role
We are looking for a Housing Assistant to join our dedicated team on The Isle of Wight!
In this role you will provide tenancy sustainment and an intensive housing management service across specialist supported housing schemes and properties working in partnership with the NHS and other statutory and voluntary sector agencies, promoting the highest standards of quality, efficiency and consistency.
Please note this is a permanent full time 35 hour position.
The location You will be based at our Newport Office on the Isle of Wight, but you need to hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle for business use as you will need to travel across the Island as required.

You will need:
- You need to have experience of working in a customer focused service environment
- You need to have experience of tenancy sustainment and intensive housing management, statutory requirements and legislation relevant to the provision of housing, care and support
- You need to have a proven ability to manage risk
- You will need have excellent customer service, creating a 'customer first' working environment
- You need to have effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
- You need to be able to able to work flexibly, prioritise and manage competing demands
