Housing Assistant - Internal Only (12 Months Fixed Term)

1x 12 Months Fixed Term position available with a competitive pay and benefits package including a starting salary of £27,332 per annum, rising to £29,805 per annum after key competencies of the role are met.

Tai Tarian is growing, and we are looking for a self-motivated, resilient Housing Assistant to join us. You'll be joining our team at a pivotal moment as this is without out doubt, a challenging time for the housing sector. The successful candidates will complete a comprehensive assessment of housing applications needs, making recommendations applying established procedures on eligibility, housing category, priority on the waiting list.

Reporting to the Housing Team Leader, this role supports the effective management of the housing waiting list to maximize income for the organisation in relation to the shared lettings policy.

Liaising with internal teams, housing applicants and partner agencies, this role is responsible for providing an effective and efficient service.

To be successful in the role of Housing Assistant our new team member will be educated to Level 2 in a relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
