Job Description
Following recent growth, The Guinness Partnership is expanding and is recruiting for a Housing Assistant to join our team in Milton Keynes on a 12-month fixed term contract.
As a Housing Assistant, you will support with the delivery of the Customer Liaison Service by providing administrative assistance and managing resident enquiries across the service. Your work will help achieve positive outcomes for our residents.
This role represents the first step on our career pathway for aspiring housing professionals.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to, accurate data input, customer information management, raising and tracking repairs, updating systems, raising purchase orders and answering routine resident enquiries and making routine outbound calls to residents.
This is an agile role with a significant amount of field-based work. While you will be based at our Milton Keynes office, much of your time will be spent out on your patch, engaging with residents and supporting service delivery. A full valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

- Experience of providing excellent customer service.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced front-line role.
- Experience working to deadlines and targets.
- Ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
- Proven ability to provide accurate and clear responses to routine customer enquiries - by telephone, email, text and in writing.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Educated to Level 2 (C+ or 9-4 GCSE or equivalent) or higher
- CIH Level 3 or working towards.
