About the role:
This role provides high-quality administrative and operational support to Housing Services, helping to ensure the efficient delivery of customer-focused services. The postholder delivers a professional, consistent and courteous service to council clients, colleagues and partner organisations, responding to enquiries, maintaining accurate records and supporting day-to-day operations. Working collaboratively with internal and
external stakeholders, they contribute to effective service delivery, positive customer experiences and the achievement of Housing Services objectives.
About you:

-Passionate about delivering excellent customer service, with a friendly, aproachable and helpful manner when supporting tenants, residents and partner organisations. -Strong communication skills, able to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing, while taking accurate notes and minutes. -Excellent organisational and administrative abilities, with a keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and information.
-A collaborative team player, who enjoys working with colleagues to achieve shared goals and deliver high-quality Housing Services. -Flexible and adaptable, able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads and
consistently meet deadlines in a busy environment. -Resilient and customer-focused, capable of handling challenging situations
professionally while demonstrating an understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and customer needs.
What you will do: -Provide comprehensive administrative and housing management support to ensure the effective day-to-day delivery of Housing Communities and Housing Quality services. -Deliver excellent customer service, responding to enquiries by telephone, email, social
media, face-to-face and home visits, and assisting with housing, homelessness and repairs-related requests. -Manage housing applications and tenancy processes, including Homes in Powys
registrations, homelessness enquiries, tenancy documentation, property allocations and occupancy sign-ups. -Support estate and tenancy management activities, including garage lettings, rent recovery, estate inspections and monitoring the progress of Personal Housing Plans. -Maintain accurate records and financial information, updating systems, processing invoices and payments, managing petty cash and ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations. -Contribute to wider Housing Services activities, including organising events, preparing
correspondence and publicity materials, supporting compliance processes and promoting positive engagement with tenants and communities.
