About the Role:

As a Housing Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for your team across your designated region, providing consistent support, guidance, training, and direction. You will be responsible for the line management of allocated team members, helping them deliver a wide range of Intensive Housing Management functions and respond effectively to day-to-day operational issues.

Your role is key to ensuring the delivery of high-quality housing management and tenancy sustainment services. You will ensure your team operate in line with organisational policies and procedures and work collaboratively with housing colleagues to maintain property standards, ensure compliance, and maximise occupancy.

You will also play a vital role in ensuring performance targets, including Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), are met. This includes supporting residents in both accommodation-based and supported housing services and acting as the main point of contact for local operational service managers seeking housing-related advice and support.

Key Duties:
  • Planning/Service Delivery
  • Support people in reducing voids and improving property turnaround times.
  • Provide guidance on tenancy sustainment, safeguarding, and risk management.
  • Ensure continuity of service by covering for people and fellow Team Managers during planned or unplanned absences.
  • Ensure consistent use of toolkits and processes, including Resident Sign-Up and Inspection Toolkits.
  • Oversee accurate and timely case recording across systems in line with policies and procedures.
  • Provide oversight and sign-off for warning letters and notices, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural standards.
