As Housing Manager, you will manage the day to day delivery of housing management services within a designated Extra Care scheme. Ensuring properties are safe, well-maintained and meet the needs and wants of our residents, enabling them to live well with dignity and autonomy.

You will oversee the upkeep and maintenance of all properties within the scheme, ensuring they not only provide a high standard of living for our residents, but are 100% compliant with regulations. Responsible for scheduling repairs and managing contractor relationships, focussing on high standards and value for money.

Customer service skills are a must, you will ensure residents feel heard and trust that any housing related concerns are addressed as a priority. You will welcome new residents to the scheme encouraging engagement with activities and events.

What we're looking for

The essential requirements for the role include:
  • Proven housing management experience
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and RoSH Regulations
  • Experience of managing and scheduling property maintenance
  • Excellent organisational skills, including tenancy management
  • Level 4 Senior Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship / CIH Level 4 or willing to work towards if not held
