The vacancy

Fixed Term Contract - 14 months

Full time (37 hours week)

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated individual, preferably with Housing Management experience, to provide an excellent level of tenancy and neighbourhood management services to our local neighbourhoods, ensuring a strong customer focus at all times.

This is a home based role, visiting customers as required, with the occasional need to attend Head Office based in Bedford Heights to meet with colleagues and for team meetings.

What you will be doing:

  • Maximising rent and void loss and ensuring tenancy sustainment
  • Managing lower level ASB cases to a high standard and be safeguarding aware
  • Working alongside the Complex Case team Housing Officers to ensure that comprehensive, consistent services are provided to our customers, ensuring they are at the heart of everything we do.
  • Undertake regular estate inspections, monitoring estate services and completing fire safety inspections.
  • Working closely with internal and external partners to ensure a seamless and wholistic offering to customers.
  • Ensuring that tenancies are managed appropriately according to the circumstances of the household, making referrals and signposting for support as necessary.

  • Excellent customer service skills putting the customer at the heart of what we do
  • Good problem-solving, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Experience of working in partnership with internal teams and external organisations to achieve shared goals
