About the role

We are recruiting for a permanent Housing Officer to cover areas in the West Midlands, including Birmingham, Solihull.

In this role, you will help GreenSquareAccord deliver excellent customer service by meeting a range of housing needs across different types of tenures.

You will work both independently and as part of a team to proactively provide a high-quality housing management service, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and value for money.

Your responsibilities will include managing complex tenancy issues, such as property condition concerns and cases of anti-social behaviour, as well as handling estate matters including health and safety.

You will also support new and existing customers by giving them the information they need to manage and sustain their tenancy.

When required, you will support the Regional Locality Manager by attending relevant Locality Board meetings in line with our Locality Model.

About you

You will have a good general or technical education beyond GCSE e.g. 2 or more A- Levels/NVQ3 or vocabulary, verbal reasoning and numerical skills to the equivalent ability level.

Housing or related qualification would be beneficial for this role.

You will require knowledge and experience of housing and tenancy law, including succession, mutual exchange, assignments and ending tenancies. This will also include experience of tenancy or leasehold management and enforcement.

For this role you will be able to demonstrate a good track history of delivering excellent customer service. This will also include excellent administration and organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise effectively and manage own demanding workload.

A FULL UK driving licence is essential for this role.
