What's the role?

As a Housing Officer, you will provide a high quality, customer focused and responsive Housing Management service to Lewisham Council residents. You will act as the residents voice. You will let properties, investigate nuisance and other tenancy breaches, manage tenancy changes, support vulnerable residents to sustain their tenancies and build good working relationships with the tenants and residents associations.

What we're looking for:

We are looking for someone who wants to make a positive difference to our residents lives. You will have an understanding of the issues faced by those living in social housing. You will be an effective communicator and collaborator. You are passionate about delivering an excellent service and have the ability to tailor your service depending on the customers needs. You will show empathy and support your most vulnerable residents.

Location

The job is primarily based in Laurence House, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work in the office, on site and occasionally from home.

Salary

£39,150 - £40,344 (SO1) per annum

N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
