As part of our Housing Team, you'll join a group of dedicated professionals who care deeply about delivering high-quality services and supporting tenants across North Yorkshire.
What you'll be doing
In this varied and rewarding role, you'll be at the heart of housing services for a defined patch of the district. You'll work closely with colleagues, tenants and partner organisations to ensure our homes are well-managed and our communities are supported.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Allocating and managing council homes to help people find the right place to live
Supporting new tenants by monitoring introductory tenancies - including preparing cases and attending court where needed
Responding to and resolving breaches of tenancy, ensuring fair and consistent action Encouraging and promoting tenant involvement to strengthen local communities
Working collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies
Keeping accurate records of casework to track progress and improve service delivery
