About Homes & Neighbourhoods
Kirklees Homes & Neighbourhoods is responsible for almost 23,000 homes across Kirklees. We have high expectations of our teams to provide Service Excellence to our customers to achieve our vision "Striving to be an excellent landlord by putting tenants and communities first".
There are several functions within Homes and Neighbourhoods including, Housing Management, Income Management, Older Peoples Support, and Partnerships including Employment Support, Customer Experience and Engagement and Fire Safety.
It is an exciting time to join our Housing Teams as we develop our services to respond to changes in housing legislation and regulation and capture new approaches for service delivery.
The Housing Management teams are Hybrid workers across the Kirklees Borough.
Travel to various locations to carry out the duties of the job is required, and a full driving licence is desirable (Exceptions may be made for disabled applicants).
The roles have a Housing Management focus.
Do you love to provide Excellent Customer Service? Our Housing Management Officers deliver a customer focused, holistic housing management service that keeps customers at the heart of what we do and the estates we manage in Kirklees.
We are looking for dynamic Housing Management Officers to work directly with communities and who are ready to embrace their next challenge, delivering our range of high quality services across a range of functions.
Housing Management Officers are often the main point of contact for our tenants and communities and will be expected to provide a professional and knowledgeable housing management service.
Kirklees is a large area, rich in heritage and with brilliant diversity and culture throughout. Our Housing Management Officers will be expected to engage well with all customers, providing high challenge and high support so that our communities are safe, well maintained and a good place to live.
An important part of the role is to recognise when action needs to be taken to address concerns by listening to our communities and developing action plans for improvement. You will also be expected to work with vulnerable customers who may need additional support throughout their tenancy and to support them to access services via other services across Kirklees partners and the voluntary sector. We work with tenants to help them achieve positive outcomes in order to sustain their tenancy.
Please contact Brooke Parkinson or Jane Gonzalez if you would like further information regarding the above roles.
