Housing Options Officer

An opportunity has arisen to be part of our Housing Options Team to support the delivery of housing services within Shropshire. We are recruiting for two Housing Options Officers. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to prevent, relieve and reduce homelessness, by assessing housing needs, providing advice on housing options and assisting households who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless to retain their accommodation or secure alternative accommodation.

We are looking for positive and adaptable individuals with strong communication and team working skills, and previous experience of providing housing options, housing advice, homelessness prevention or related services.
