Housing - Empowering Housing Solutions for All in Wiltshire

Lead our Property and Support Service team and drive initiatives that make a real difference in preventing homelessness and fighting financial exclusion.

As Housing Strategic and Performance Lead, you'll ensure the smooth operation of key services, from lettings and tenancy sustainment to managing temporary accommodations and housing-related support contracts. You'll act as a bridge between the council, private sector, and community partners to deliver housing solutions that make a difference.

In this role you will lead the development of critical policies, including our Homelessness Prevention Strategy and Rough Sleeping Plan, using data-driven insights and ensure compliance and quality in housing support contracts, continually pushing for improvements. Additionally, you will oversee the council's Allocations Policy review, engaging stakeholders and implementing changes that meet legislative requirements.

To succeed, you'll need a degree in a related field, extensive housing experience and a deep understanding of housing law. Membership in a relevant professional body is desirable.
