Housing Strategy Delivery Officer
Starting salary up to £43818 per annum
Based at King's Court Council Office, King's Lynn, Norfolk.
We're looking for someone to play a key part in delivering our strategy to "End Homelessness, Person by Person" in West Norfolk - developing local services that are dignified, flexible, empathetic, collaborative and transparent.
If you share in these values and would like to help, we need you to join our team, supporting the Senior Housing Manager in the delivery of our strategy and in wider housing objectives.
You will support delivery of the priorities set out within the Strategy - helping to prevent homelessness, provide stable accommodation and to help formerly homeless people thrive in the borough. You will also support the Council's wider housing objectives including the activities of the West Norfolk Housing Company.
You should have experience in a housing or related setting with a working knowledge of current policy issues affecting homelessness and social housing. You will have excellent communication and partnership development skills, including experience of writing action plans and briefing notes for senior managers. You will also have strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate projects.
If this looks like the perfect role for you, we welcome your application. In return, we can offer performance related pay, a generous annual leave entitlement which includes an office closure between Christmas and New Year and membership of the local government pension scheme.
Subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure, through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
