Housing Strategy Delivery Officer

Initial salary between £34581 and £41673 per annum

Based at King's Court Council Offices

We have a new opportunity for an experienced and motivated Housing Strategy Delivery Officer to help drive forward our ambitious housing programmes across West Norfolk. Working as part of our Housing Services team, you will play a key role in enabling the delivery of new affordable homes, support the development of the Councils wholly owned Housing Companies and supporting the development of housing strategies that respond to local need.

In this varied role, you will work closely with Registered Providers, developers, Homes England and a wide range of internal teams-planning, legal, corporate projects and property-to bring forward high-quality housing schemes. You'll support the Housing Development Manager in delivering the council's Housing Delivery Strategy, including business planning for our housing companies, identifying development opportunities, securing funding and maintaining a robust pipeline of schemes.

You will represent the Council with parish councils, community groups and rural partners to progress rural affordable housing, using rural exception policy, housing needs research and community-led initiatives. You will also support the collection and analysis of housing data, contribute to government statistical returns, and help monitor progress against the Council's Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy.

You will have strong housing experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to balance detailed analytical work with strategic thinking. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on partnership working, problem-solving and shaping housing solutions that have a direct and positive impact on residents.
