Job Title- Housing Support Assistant

Location - Wiltshire

Salary - £23,500 - £28,800 pro rata + Car Allowance £750pa

Contract type - Temporary (to cover maternity leave)

Working hours - 30 hrs per week

Closing date - 6th October 2025

About the role

We are recruiting a part time Housing Support Assistant to work in our Wiltshire Domestic Abuse Service.

The role is based at our sites across North and West Wiltshire.

You will be working alongside our Support Workers to deliver a comprehensive housing management and support service to our customers. Maintaining computerised records, monitoring rent accounts and conducting health and safety checks within our buildings.

You will also assist the team in reporting repairs and ensuring any empty properties are made ready to let.

You will provide information to new and existing customers which will enable them to manage and sustain their accommodation

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer.

About you

You will have an awareness of Health and Safety issues and some previous experience of working with vulnerable people.

You will need to have a friendly, approachable nature and caring attitude and be able to use your own initiative.

You will be required to be able to work as part of a team or alone depending on business requirements at the time.

As you`ll be working across various sites and need to be adaptable and flexible, with a full driving licence and use of your own vehicle.
