The Role:
We are seeking a Housing Support Assistant to work in our busy Housing Services team. The role includes handling all enquiries by email, in person or on the telephone, providing support in accommodation and related matters regarding a move to Cambridge. Checking, verifying and approving all registrations for accommodation. The role holder liaises with customers and landlords on a daily basis. Accuracy in the use of a database, Word, email communications and the use of Excel to create and generate reports - all Microsoft Office packages. The role is varied, and you may be asked to undertake other administrative tasks to support the wider team.
About you:
In order to succeed in this role, you will join us with excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and accuracy in record keeping. Experience in the property and customer service sector, in the use of databases and Microsoft packages are essential. You will provide a welcoming and supportive response to customers, and to manage a range of tasks when it is very busy.
