About the Role
MTVH are looking for a Housing with Support Manager to deliver a high-quality housing management and support service within our Sheltered Housing schemes. The role supports customers aged 55+ to live independently, safely, and with choice and control in a secure community setting. You will oversee day-to-day housing management, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and work closely with customers to meet their housing and wellbeing needs.
Therefore, as part of the Care & Support team, you will build strong relationships with customers, partner agencies, and internal teams. You will provide practical advice, manage tenancies effectively, and proactively support customers to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key responsibilities
- Deliver an effective housing management service across sheltered schemes, including maintenance, cleanliness, and health & safety
- Assess referrals, facilitate viewings, and determine suitability in line with allocations policy
- Carry out regular tenancy and household audits and follow-up home visits
- Provide advice on rent arrears, welfare benefits, budgeting, and financial inclusion
- Promote independent living by signposting customers to community resources, statutory agencies, and specialist services
- Knowledge of relevant housing legislation, tenancy rights, and safeguarding responsibilities
- Experience working with older or vulnerable adults and understanding their housing and wellbeing needs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive situations empathetically and professionally
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload independently while working as part of a wider team
- Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and housing systems
