Housing Support Officer

Full Time 37hrs per week

Grade 7 £30,559 - £33,366

The Housing Support Team are recruiting a Housing Support Officer to join our Substance Misuse Team providing housing related support to people within the borough of Dudley that have housing needs and substance misuse issues. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive housing support service to an allocated caseload to enable them to manage their home, to encourage and facilitate their independence, quality of life, health and well-being.

The successful applicant will

:• Have proven experience of providing housing related support.

• Experience of working to achieve specific goals and performance measures and to review performance and identify improvements.

• A sound working knowledge of welfare benefits.

• Ability to work as a self-starter, managing time and targets without close supervision

.• Have achieved A level qualifications or equivalent, including GCSE English Language and Mathematics (A to C Grade).
