About the role

As a Housing with Support Officer, you'll play a vital role in supporting older people to live safely, confidently, and independently in their homes. Working closely with residents, colleagues, and partners, you'll help co-ordinate personalised support that promotes choice, wellbeing and security.

This is a temporary position for up to 6 months, with the possibility for extension - ideal for someone looking to bring their experience and empathy to a rewarding, people-focused role.

What you'll be doing
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with residents and colleagues
  • Assessing support needs and helping residents maintain independence
  • Co-ordinating services and support plans tailored to individuals
  • Responding to queries, challenges and day-to-day needs with a practical, solution-focused approach
  • Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
What we're looking for

We're keen to hear from people who are:
  • Compassionate and people-focused, with a genuine desire to support others
  • Practical problem-solvers who can use initiative and adapt to changing situations
  • Great communicators who build strong working relationships
  • Experienced (or knowledgeable) in supported housing, welfare benefits, or services for older people
  • Comfortable using basic IT systems such as Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Committed to continuous learning and development
  • Flexible, proactive and passionate about delivering excellent customer service
