G08 £33,366 - £36,124

37 hours per week working Sunday to Thursday inclusive

The post holder would deliver intensive housing-related support in line with the Welsh Government's Housing Support Grant Programme in order to help vulnerable tenants to develop or maintain the skills and confidence needed to sustain independent living and prevent homelessness. The post holder's role will be to work with individuals to enable them to sustain their tenancies by agreeing a tailor made plan identifying support needs and working with them to address these issues.

This is an exciting opportunity that will change people's lives, empower tenants to make the right life choices resulting in them having their forever home. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential, empathy and understanding the tenant's needs. You will need to have at least two years' experience of working in housing, social services or having dealt with vulnerable clients and have an understanding of their complex needs. A basic knowledge of Housing and / or Social Care legislation. An understanding of mental health, social services and other support agencies within the public and voluntary sector is also desirable.
