Job Opportunity - 1 x Housing Support Officer Vacancy - Dudley Resettlement & Inclusion Team

Hours : - 37 hours per week

Salary: Grade 7 £30,559 - £33,366

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

A temporary fixed term opportunity has arisen in the Dudley Resettlement & Inclusion Team for a Housing Support Officer for a period of 12 months.

The purpose of the job is to deliver housing and integration support to refugees in the Dudley Borough and help promote inclusion across all our communities. The Resettlement & Inclusion Team are part of the Housing & Communities Directorate which is responsible for the local Housing Strategy across all tenures and is also the largest landlord in the borough with around 22000 homes. The successful candidate will work within a team supporting families and vulnerable adults newly arrived in the borough. We are proud to offer a professional and person-centred service in partnership with colleagues inside and outside the Council.

Based on the work we are currently carrying out, we would welcome applications from professionals who speak any of the following additional languages: Pashto / Farsi, Dari, Arabic, Kurdish Sorani.
