Peabody is looking for a caring, proactive, and motivated Part-Time Support Worker to join our vibrant services in St Albans. You'll split your time between two supportive housing schemes - Milligan House (mental health support) and Russet Drive (learning disabilities) - both just 10 minutes apart.

Milligan House - A dry house for adults recovering from mental health challenges, working closely with local services to build resilience and independence.
Russet Drive - A friendly, supportive environment for adults with learning disabilities who live independently but need a little extra help with life skills.
Both services are calm, community-focused, and designed to empower our residents to move forward.
What You'll Be Doing
20 hours per week (Mon-Fri, between 9 AM - 5 PM - no evenings, no weekends! )
Travel:
You'll need a driving licence and access to a vehicle to travel between schemes.

What You'll Be Doing
- Helping customers develop vital life skills - like budgeting, cooking, and managing a tenancy.
- Providing emotional and practical support - building confidence, celebrating successes, and tackling challenges together.
- Promoting social inclusion - encouraging community participation and running small group activities.
- Working in partnership with local authorities, health teams, and voluntary organisations.

What We're Looking For
- A warm, non-judgmental approach and a real passion for empowering others.
- Experience in housing-related support (tenancy sustainment, benefits, support plans).
- Strong IT and admin skills to keep support plans and records up to date.
- A self-starter who's confident working both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience or understanding of mental health, learning disabilities, or housing support (professional or personal) is a real plus!
