Join Inspire North as a Housing Support Worker!

Ready to make a real difference... and feel great doing it?

At Inspire North, we believe every young person deserves someone in their corner - someone who sees their potential, champions their strengths, and helps them take brave steps toward independence. If that sounds like your kind of job, pull up a chair - we'd love to meet you.

As a Housing Support Worker, you'll support young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. You won't just help them find a place to live - you'll help them build the confidence, skills and belief that they can create the future they want.

Whether you're in our hostel or out in the community, you'll be the steady, encouraging presence that helps them thrive.

What Makes You Our Kind of Person:
  • You've supported vulnerable young people before - and you genuinely care about helping them shine.
  • You're a natural communicator: warm, human, and able to build trust while keeping things professional.
  • You love being part of a supportive, sociable team, but you're also confident managing your own caseload.
  • You're organised, accurate with records, and not afraid to muck in wherever needed.
  • You've got a UK driving licence (or one valid in the UK) and access to a vehicle for work.
Why Join Us?

At Inspire North, we know that when people feel supported, appreciated and encouraged to be themselves, they can do amazing things - and we want you to be part of that.

Here's what you'll enjoy as part of our team:
  • Flexible working options so you can balance life and work in a way that genuinely works for you.
  • Hybrid working (where applicable) - the perfect blend of connection and comfort.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service - because rest matters.
  • Loads of learning and career development opportunities, including paid and personalised training to help you grow.
  • Free, confidential Employee Assistance Programme 24/7,including counselling and GP services - your wellbeing comes first.
  • Employer contributory pension scheme to help secure your future.
  • Great maternity, paternity and adoption benefits to support you and your family.
  • Exclusive care workers discounts to make everyday life that bit easier.
  • Active Employee Networks including People of Colour, LGBT+, Mental Health and Accessibility - because everyone deserves to belong.
  • Health and wellbeing initiatives to help you feel your best, inside and out.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme to keep you moving and support greener choices.
  • Corporate Health Plan to support your physical and mental health.
We proudly embrace diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive, anti-racist environment where everyone can thrive by being their true self. Join us in driving this important agenda forward and help shape a workplace where all voices are valued!

If you're ready to use your skills to help others succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
