Housing Support Worker

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week

Salary: £28,230 + 5% pension.

Holiday: 25 days, plus Bank Holidays

Latch is an exceptional charitable organisation that refurbishes derelict and run-down houses in Leeds. Once fully renovated and furnished, our properties offer supported housing for individuals experiencing homelessness or facing housing challenges, empowering them to embark on a journey towards positive transformation in their lives.

We are recruiting an experienced worker to support our tenants to:
  • Establish and maintain their tenancies to prevent recurring homelessness.
  • Address their identified and changing support needs.
  • Develop a range of skills so that they can move to independent living.
  • Identify and take steps towards achieving their personal goals.
Latch provides flexible, individualised support. We are developing our service based on innovative evidence-based practice, incorporating Strengths Based Approaches and Trauma Informed Practice. We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and committed worker to join our friendly team.

Experience of support work, a full driving licence and access to own vehicle for work use are essential. Enhanced DBS checking will be carried out for this role.
