The Package
You will support Residents in a supported accommodation setting and/or the community with their housing needs and life skills in a person-centred, trauma informed way. This will involve:

You will support Residents in a supported accommodation setting and/or the community with their housing needs and life skills in a person-centred, trauma informed way. This will involve:
- Supporting residents with mental health and wellbeing, by encouraging healthy activities and lifestyles, and signposting to services
- Assisting with claims for housing and associated benefits to support financial stability
- Organising and managing a range of engaging activities to promote social inclusion
- Playing a hands-on role in responding to incidents appropriately, contacting and liaising with NWH staff, emergency services, voluntary and statutory agencies,
- Maintaining accurate service user records and files
- Either have the ability to hold at least basic conversations in Welsh (although you may struggle to keep up fully) or be currently learning / willing to learn Welsh to the required level
- Experience working in a client centred environment such as housing, care or similar (e.g., supporting individuals in reporting maintenance issues, making healthcare appointments, pursuing hobbies, securing training and employment, etc.)
- Knowledge of the support needs of vulnerable people
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Hard working, with a positive 'can do attitude'
- At least have basic IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
