Are you passionate about helping people overcome barriers and achieve greater independence?
We're looking for a Housing Support Worker to join our Scarborough Resettlement and Community Safety Scheme (RACSS), supporting individuals with a history of offending who are supervised by the National Probation Service. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference by helping people secure stable accommodation, reduce the risk of reoffending, and build positive futures within their communities.
No two days are the same. One day you could be supporting a client to move into accommodation and set up utilities and benefit claims, while the next you may be carrying out support visits, working with partner agencies, managing tenancy-related issues, or helping someone access education, training, employment, or community opportunities. You'll work closely with colleagues, landlords and external services to ensure clients receive the support they need to sustain their tenancies and achieve their goals.

Who we're looking for:
- Experience supporting vulnerable people with complex needs to achieve positive outcomes.
- Strong relationship-building, communication and partnership-working skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload, complete assessments and maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge of housing, welfare benefits, homelessness, safeguarding and risk management.
- Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle, plus confidence using IT systems and Microsoft Office.
