We're on the lookout for an Independent Living Advisor who's ready to lift others up, roll with the challenges, and navigate the road to independence with heart, humour, and a whole lot of can-do attitude.
Location: Boston
Salary: £11,428.56
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday- Friday, 18 hours per week (Shift rota to be discussed during interview)

A typical week could look like:
- Carrying out assessments of housing register applicants for the sheltered housing service.
- Completing Support Plans and Reviews accurately with existing and new customers and annually thereafter.
- Undertaking relief duties for colleagues in their absence.
- Assisting in the provision of the Integrated Living and Supported Housing Service, promoting the service throughout the area.
- Signposting customers to the appropriate agency suitable to their needs as and when necessary.
- Carrying out weekly/monthly Health & Safety building compliance checks.
- Working with outside agencies and develop working relations with the local community and support activities across the community hubs.
- Assisting in the provision of our extra care housing service, particularly our dementia day care service Memory Lane.
- Visiting Sheltered Housing schemes as required, to ensure security of the building, check lighting, reporting communal and tenant repairs.
- Dealing with resident enquiries or effectively signposting requests for advice, in relation to a wide range of information.
What Skills, Abilities, Knowledge and Experience will I need as a Compliance Surveyor?
- Experience of providing a quality customer service.
- Able to develop good working partnerships, external & internal.
- Competence with standard desk top ICT applications.
- Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hold an ability to relate to people in stressful situations.
- Able to prioritise and manage workloads, and work without direct supervision.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and on your own.
- Able to relate professionally and effectively with vulnerable people.
- Willing to work flexibly.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
