- Carrying out regular inspections of communal areas and fire safety systems.
- Supporting new tenants with practical advice and signposting to services.
- Coordinating social activities and events to reduce isolation and promote wellbeing.
- Working with internal teams and external partners to maintain high standards across schemes.
- Promoting the use of communal lounges and facilities.
- Identifying and referring safeguarding concerns appropriately.
What we're looking for in our Independent Living Officer:
- 4 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with customers in the community.
- A flexible, positive attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel between schemes.
